You really just have to enjoy what you do. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it. If you don’t enjoy your job, find something else. If you don’t enjoy who you’re with, leave. Don’t worry, don’t stress, don’t let small little fights take over your life. you need to be happy with what you’re doing, you need to not live in a relationship with work or another person that is constantly pulled down by small fights, consistent nervousness, and a suppressed urge to actually do what you want to do.
I love working with Noozi and with residence life. I have every intention to ride both those trains as long as I can. I love doing doing professional presentations, working with clients, and helping people achieve their goals and dreams – those are my goals and dreams too.
School, especially undergrad, is definitely weighing me down. On a day like today I really feel like each day I continue with my undergrad education is just another day closer towards giving up (note: I know it is also one more day closer to graduating as well.) I just have a lot of class work that, at the end of the day, almost seems more pointless than the work I did as a freshman or in high school. I’m not saying that I’m necessarily smarter than the material, BUT, sometimes a program just isn’t right for someone. It’s making me tired and unmotivated. When I am able to do projects for residence life or my clients with Noozi I feel refreshed and motivated and I can lose complete sense of time when doing the work.
6-8 or so more weeks until jeans are a luxury on the weekend.
